It's A Pig Toss!

Happy Easter! This was the perfect day to make this messenger bag! I love the fat little pigs on this fabric, they look like they are having so much fun! The fabric I chose for the outside is an Alexander Henry Home Collection "Heath", which is now one of my all time favorite fabrics. The illusion of texture is amazing and it is the perfect weight for a bag. Watch for some more bags in this fabric. This bag is a custom order, can't wait to deliver it!

Folklore Knots

Alexander Henry's Folklorico Jardin De San Marcos turned out to be a great fabric for two knot bags. I had bought this fabric for another project but after some consideration I decided that it would make some really cute knot bags. One bag is already sold and the other is up on my Etsy site. I found a nice pattern to match, purple diamonds and dots. It is hard not to keep this bag for myself!

Spring Break is coming to an end...

Japanese Knot Bag with iPad padded pocket

Time flies when you are busy sewing! Today was my last full day of sewing on spring break. Tomorrow I have my second crocheting class and before that I am looking forward to having a nice breakfast with Jay, so no sewing. Then it looks like Sunday is going to be my first outing on my bike, I'm sorry lungs! (Somewhere in there I also need to get a little homework done.) Anyways I have had a very productive break. Here are a few more projects I accomplished. All of them are custom orders.

Awe Knots!

Update: Finished another bag. This bag is listed on my Etsy store.

Dewberry Japanese Knot Bag, reversible

Two down, two more to go. I had to take a break from sewing today to go see Hunger Games with my honey. Well worth it! I loved the trilogy and loved the first movie just as much. Tomorrow I will finish the other two knot bags. For now, enjoy these:

An Echino Wish

I bought this fabric with intentions of making a knot bag. But it told me that it really wanted to be a messenger bag. I am glad I listened! I am so happy with how it turned out. This is a tough one to let go but a good friend is adding it to her collection of Off The Hook bags. Thank you Martha!

Love Me Knot

Japanese Knot Bag made with Amy Butler fabric "Love". I am in love with the knot bags. What a great concept. I will be making many more and listing them in my Etsy store. This bag was bought by my cousin.
